SC Control Privacy Policy

SC Control by SCNK connects to compatible SC240 controllers and displays controller and vehicle data.

Information processed

• Bluetooth data needed to discover, connect to, and communicate with a compatible controller.
• Questions and the relevant in-app context you send to the optional AI assistant.
• Conversation history and app settings stored locally on your device.

How AI data is used

When you use the AI assistant, your question and selected app context are sent over HTTPS to SC Control's server-side proxy and then to Google Gemini to generate a response. The Gemini API key is kept server-side and is not stored in the app. SC Control does not sell your information or use it for advertising or tracking.

Retention and control

Conversation history is kept separately on your device and can be removed from the app. AI requests are used only to provide the requested response and are not associated with an SC Control account.
